Bre DeBeauvernet

Marketing Coordinator

Bonjour! (Can you tell I recently married a guy with a cool French last name? Well, I did, and now I'm trying to expand on the the little bits of the language I learned from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.)

I've got a degree in broadcast journalism from Temple University, and enough real-world experience to know that news rooms don't quite live up to their hype.

I began my marketing career at a law firm in Philadelphia. I learned how to use lots of big words. I also learned that working with lawyers largely means spending 23 hours a day reading documents and foregoing all human contact. I really like reading, but I also really like people. And sunlight.

In search of both, I joined an environmental graphic design firm as Sales & Marketing Coordinator. Then, after finally figuring out what environmental graphic design actually means, my husband got a job in Connecticut. So we packed up our bags and moved to Bridgeport: swimming pools...movie stars.

I'll always be a Philly girl at heart, but while here I'm going to take advantage of everything CT has to offer. I also fully expect to drag my husband (known to folks at Gabardine, affectionately, as 'Frenchy') to Broadway shows. Is Beauty and the Beast still playing?
